The Jay County Civic Theater will present Noises Off in Hall-Moser Theater located in the Art Place.
The show features the actors of a comedic play called “Nothing On,” as they try valiantly to master the complex entrances and exits of their silly show. Wear Red Day – Support Our Troops Proclamation Signed
Mayor Bruce Hosier of Portland IN, signed a proclamation declaring every Friday “Wear Red Day” to show support for our U.S. Military Troops. The Mom’s of Jay County’s local Military Support Group attended the signing and presented Mayor Hosier with their official red “Support Our Troops” shirt. These shirts are available for purchase from Patriot Sports Wear located on the corner of Main and Meridian, in downtown Portland Indiana.

The Jay County Patriots begin the 2009 season with a bang
This is Lea Selvey’s 21st year as Head Coach of the Jay County Patriots and it appears to be another exciting season. The Glass Museum
Located at 309 S. Franklin Street in Dunkirk Indiana, The Glass Museum is owned and operated by the Dunkirk City Library. On display you can see over 6,500 pieces of glass from 110 factories around the world, with over 1,500 cup plates from the Eastern United states dating from the 1800′s to present day.
Glass was discovered here in 1896 and many glass houses were soon in operation. Many one-of-a-kind items, Depression Era glass and Albany Glass. Fostoria, Kings Crown, and many items ere made locally by the Indiana Glass Corporation.

Charges for testing do apply, but the Health Fair offers significantly discounted pricing for these services. Many booths offer free information and evaluations.
