Ouabache State Park is not in Jay County, but is an easy drive from anywhere within Jay County.
Ouabache is the French spelling of an Indiana word for ‘Wabash’ just as the name of the river that runs next to the State Park.
There are many family activities at Ouabache State Park that are free with the price of admission to the park. Check out the parks website at http://www.state.in.us/dnr/parklake/2975.htm and at http://www.stateparks.com/ouabache.html
