The Glass Museum

Located at 309 S. Franklin Street in Dunkirk Indiana, The Glass Museum is owned and operated by the Dunkirk City Library. On display you can see over 6,500 pieces of glass from 110 factories around the world, with over 1,500 cup plates from the Eastern United states dating from the 1800′s to present day.
Glass was discovered here in 1896 and many glass houses were soon in operation. Many one-of-a-kind items, Depression Era glass and Albany Glass. Fostoria, Kings Crown, and many items ere made locally by the Indiana Glass Corporation.

Hours of Operation

The museum is open May – October 31
Tuesday – Saturday 10A.M. – 2 P.M.
Sunday – By appointment only

Adults – $2.00 (10% discount for AAA members)
Children 12 & under Free
